The Animal Rescue League of Marshalltown, located in Marshalltown, IA, has been dedicated to assisting and caring for homeless pets in Marshall County since 1958. With a mission to provide a safe haven for lost, homeless, and abused companion animals, they work tirelessly to reunite lost pets with their families, find loving homes for adoptable and abandoned animals, and strengthen the bond between humans and animals. Their vision is to create a community where no companion animal is left to starve or fend for itself, where euthanasia is only necessary for severe behavior and medical issues, and where all companion animals have a comfortable and loving place to live until a forever home is found.

Throughout their history, the Animal Rescue League of Marshalltown has undergone continuous renovations to accommodate the growing number of animals in need. They operate as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and rely on donations from the community to sustain their operations. The Animal Rescue League of Marshalltown is open Tuesday through Saturday, with viewing hours for potential adopters and those interested in supporting their cause.
