Armenia Women’s Basketball is a nonprofit organization dedicated to growing the sport and supporting women’s athletics in Armenia. Through the Friends of Armenia’s Women’s Basketball Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, it works to develop basketball at multiple levels and build opportunities for female athletes. The program brings together talented, hardworking players from around the world, combining their individual skills to form competitive teams. In collaboration with the Armenian Basketball Federation, Armenia WBB aims to develop successful women basketball players who can represent Armenia in FIBA championships and beyond.
The organization supports national teams for women, under-18 players, and under-16 players, and shares information about its coaching staff, news, and team schedules. Its activities also include U16 and U18 tryouts, youth camps, and ways for supporters to purchase tickets and connect with the program. By nurturing athletes, encouraging teamwork, and strengthening the foundations of women’s basketball, Armenia WBB helps promote the sport and expand its reach in Armenia.
