Armory 1776 is a New Hyde Park, New York-based gunsmithing and firearms training business serving Nassau County, the New York Tri-State area, and customers beyond. Its gunsmithing work is fully guaranteed, giving firearm owners a service option for their gunsmithing needs. Services are provided by appointment.
The company also offers pistol training for people seeking to build their shooting skills, including new pistol-permit holders and those preparing to apply for a New York State concealed carry permit. In addition, Armory 1776 teaches the National Rifle Association’s Refuse to be a Victim seminar, which focuses on crime-prevention techniques for individuals and community groups.
Training classes are kept small and require a deposit to reserve a place. If a participant cancels and the seat can be filled, the business may provide a credit toward a future class within twelve months; otherwise, refunds or credits are not available. Armory 1776 emphasizes safety and may remove participants who fail to follow instructions or create hazards.
