The Army Flying Museum is a registered charity based at Middle Wallop in Hampshire, dedicated to telling the story of British Army Flying. Its collections trace more than a century of military aviation, from 1878 to the present, and cover the Royal Engineers, Royal Flying Corps, Glider Pilot Regiment, Air Observation Post Squadrons and today’s Army Air Corps. Visitors can explore more than 35 fixed-wing and rotary aircraft, alongside displays, archive material and online exhibitions that illuminate the history of Army aviation and its role in conflict.
The museum offers admission, group visits, family activities, school and home-education sessions, youth programmes, adult learning, archive services and research support. Its programme also includes talks, living-history events, screenings, concerts and special events. The Apache Café serves food and drinks, and the venue is available for hire, commemorations and celebrations. Visitors can support the charity through membership, volunteering, donations, corporate partnerships and its Adopt an Aircraft programme. Tickets allow repeat visits for 12 months, according to the museum’s website.
