About A Rocha International
A Rocha South Africa (ARZA) is a part of the global A Rocha family, an organization dedicated to biodiversity conservation and environmental education. Since 2002, ARZA has been actively involved in coordinating community conservation projects and environmental education initiatives in various regions of South Africa, including KwaZulu-Natal, the Western Cape, and Gauteng. Their work focuses on projects such as the Tortoise Project, which aims to restore tortoises to their natural habitats, and the Ferncliffe Mistbelt Forest Restoration Project, which aims to preserve and restore mistbelt forests.
ARZA also collaborates with partner organizations like Free Me Wildlife and Phillipskop Mountain Reserve. Through their work, ARZA seeks to promote conservation, community development, and a deeper understanding of the interconnectedness between humanity and the natural world. Stay updated on their initiatives and find ways to get involved by subscribing to their newsletter
