Aroha Skate

Aroha Skate provides skateboarding lessons and support for children, families, schools, and communities. Its coaching caters to all abilities, from beginners stepping onto a skateboard for the first time to more experienced skaters refining tricks. Coaches assess each student’s skills and recommend appropriate challenges, with a focus on safe, guided learning. Lessons are generally designed for children aged five to 12, with some flexibility for younger children who are ready to participate.

The brand also works with schools and community centres to bring skateboarding into physical education, lunchtime, and after-school programmes. For schools, Aroha Skate offers equipment packages that can include skateboards, helmets, ramps, and integration lessons to help sessions run smoothly. Families can browse an online shop for quality skateboards, including options intended for first-time riders and upgrades. Aroha Skate also provides guides for parents and information about autism and disabilities, and lists private lessons and an online skate academy as part of its learning offerings.
