About Arosa Bärenland
Arosa Bear Sanctuary is a mountain wildlife attraction and animal conservation project in the Arosa holiday region of Switzerland. Situated at 2,000 metres above sea level, it gives visitors the opportunity to see bears in a natural environment amid the surrounding mountain scenery. The sanctuary was established in cooperation with Arosa Tourism and the animal welfare organisation FOUR PAWS.
Visitors can plan a visit with online tickets, opening-time information, live webcams and guidance on getting there. The experience includes an adventure trail, a visitor platform, an exhibition and guided tours, as well as bear-themed activities such as mini golf and the Bärenschule adventure playground. The site also provides information about its resident bears, including Sam and Jamila, Amelia and Meimo, and Napa.
Arosa Bear Sanctuary is accessible by mountain railway, with ticket options that can include admission and return travel. Visitors can also explore accommodation and dining information, browse the shop, or support the project through donations and sponsorship tickets.
