ARPI Faro

A.R.P.I. (Associação dos Reformados, Pensionistas e Idosos do Concelho de Faro) is a Private Institution of Social Solidarity serving the community of Faro, with a particular focus on older people. With more than 30 years of experience, the association promotes social connection, dignity and community participation through a range of social services and activities.

Its services include day centres, a home support service and social centres, with provision in Faro and Montenegro. A.R.P.I. also organizes physical, social, intellectual and cultural activities, alongside excursions, dances, events and opportunities for learning and entertainment. These programmes help older people spend time together, stay active and build new relationships and memories.

The association further supports community involvement through volunteering, donations, institutional partnerships and cultural initiatives, including a folklore and ethnographic group and an arts and culture academy. Based in Faro, A.R.P.I. combines practical support with opportunities for companionship and participation, contributing to the wellbeing of older residents and the wider local community.
