Arrels Democràtiques

**Arrels Democràtiques** is a pioneering research and outreach project dedicated to safeguarding and promoting democratic culture through historical awareness. Established to recover the memory of democracy, the initiative provides a wealth of multimedia resources, including documentaries, articles, press documentation, and biographies of notable figures, particularly those involved in political and civil society movements. The project addresses significant historical themes such as anarchism, communism, conservatism, fascism, liberalism, and socialism, offering insights into various political ideologies that have shaped societal structures.

Arrels Democràtiques also organizes events, conferences, and commemorations that promote critical discussions about the past, such as the impact of Francoism and the evolution of Balearic identity. Their publications include works on the transition to democracy in the Balearic Islands, further contributing to the understanding of local narratives. With a commitment to preserving collective memory, Arrels Democràtiques serves as a vital resource for education and cultural enrichment within the community and beyond.
