ARS 28 is a Zurich-based contemporary art gallery and conservation lab dedicated to contemporary art and the care of works on paper and photographs. Its name draws on the idea expressed by the Latin aphorism “Ars longa, vita brevis,” or “art lasts, life is short,” reflecting the gallery’s aim to help visitors discover art and enrich their experience of it. The gallery presents work by a roster of artists, including Aigars Bikše, Normunds Brasliņš, Miķelis Fišers, Iveta Gabaliņa, Helēna Heinrihsone, Ritums Ivanovs, Rasa Jansone, Frančeska Kirke, Marko Mäetamm and others.
Alongside its exhibition program, ARS 28 provides conservation and restoration for works of art on paper and photographic objects. The studio emphasizes high quality, precision and discretion, and offers advice and proposals for preserving or restoring individual objects. Art framing is also listed among its services.
Located on Weinbergstrasse in Zurich, ARS 28 welcomes visitors to explore its gallery and contact the team about conservation needs. Its website also provides information about opening hours, news and the artists it represents
