About Art Athina
Art Athina is a well-established art fair that was founded by the Panhellenic Association of Art Galleries in 1993, making it one of the oldest fairs in Europe. The fair's strong institutional presence is evident in both the fair itself, which hosts Greek and international galleries, and in the parallel activities and programs that take place throughout the year. The team at Art Athina is led by Artistic Director Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos and coordinator Antonis Kourkoulos, who ensure the smooth operation of the fair and the artistic program.
Additionally, the fair collaborates with G Design Studio for identity and creative communication, and Quadraweb for platform development. Art Athina offers a diverse range of programs, including performances, talks, video presentations, and project spaces, all curated by experts in the field. Art Athina 2023 will take place at the Zappeion Megaro from September 14th to 17th, offering a unique opportunity to engage with contemporary art in Greece
