ART SOS

ART S.O.S – the Alicja Roszkowska Foundation is a cultural and charitable organisation dedicated to helping artists and nurturing young musical talent. Founded by Alicja Roszkowska, it supports students and emerging musicians through scholarships and assistance with purchasing instruments. Its scholarship programmes include “Szybuj z Orłami,” funded through the Lisowski-Smykowski Fund in cooperation with the Polish Children’s Aid Committee in Montreal. The foundation also encourages artistic growth by creating opportunities for young performers to appear before audiences and learn from established musicians.

Based in Suwałki, ART S.O.S runs a music salon on Chłodna Street, where it presents intimate concerts, cultural gatherings and events combining music with charitable support. Its activities include salon concert series, performances by scholarship recipients and the WigroSfera festival, which brings together music and visual art. The foundation invites individuals and organisations to contribute through donations, sponsorship and partnership, helping fund scholarships and cultural projects. Through these efforts, ART S.O.S connects audiences, artists and supporters while making arts education and performance opportunities more accessible to young musicians.
