ARTCOURT Gallery, established in Osaka in 2003, is a prominent contemporary art space dedicated to showcasing both established and emerging Japanese artists. The gallery’s mission, summarized as “identifying beauty and connecting with the world,” emphasizes its role in promoting conceptual art and advocating for post-war Japanese art movements. It features an impressive roster of artists known for their unique contributions to complex artistic practices.
In addition to hosting innovative exhibitions, ARTCOURT actively supports young talent through programs like the annual "Art Court Frontier" and engages in public art commissions that enhance architectural spaces internationally, including installations in New York's World Trade Center. The gallery also expands its reach by publishing artist books and conducting research to document and critically assess artistic practices.
In 2018, to commemorate its 15th anniversary, ARTCOURT opened ACG Villa Kyoto, a serene viewing space designed to harmonize with nature. Through its dual locations in Osaka and Kyoto, ARTCOURT continues to deliver exceptional contemporary art to a global audience.
