Arte Matilda is a Mexican brand and curated bazaar dedicated to keeping the country’s culture and traditions alive through locally made products and contemporary design. Founded by Vanessa, Machel, and Valeria, the initiative brings together Mexican designers, entrepreneurs, artisans, producers, and community organizations. Its bazaar showcases carefully selected products, including the founders’ own designs, made in collaboration with artisans from 14 Indigenous communities who weave, embroider, and sew them. The founders describe their approach as a distinctive vision of Mexican craft and design with a “hippie chic” touch.

Each edition is curated to provide favorable conditions for exhibitors and a memorable experience for visitors. Arte Matilda encourages people to buy locally and supports the makers and communities behind the products. Through a social support program, 20% of total sales from each bazaar edition goes toward immediate assistance for foundations and artisans, with the broader aim of improving quality of life for vulnerable groups. The next bazaar is scheduled for October 26–28, 2026, at Lienzo Charro del Pedregal.
