About Art House SF
Art House SF is a boutique contemporary art gallery in San Francisco’s Castro District, presenting original, affordable and eclectic works by artists from more than 20 countries. Founded by gallery director Max Khusid, the gallery aims to introduce visitors to art from remote and less-discovered parts of the world, bringing diverse international perspectives into modern homes.
Visitors can explore and purchase original paintings, fine art prints and art postcards, with works spanning subjects such as abstract art, animals, cityscapes, landscapes, people, plants and still life. The collection includes special selections of Icelandic, Israeli, Persian, South African, Tibetan and Ukrainian art, alongside artists from Latin America, Asia, Europe and Africa. Art House SF also hosts regularly changing exhibitions, featuring individual artists and cultural themes. Its current exhibition highlights Uzbek artist Feruz Temirov and his intricate miniature paintings inspired by Persian traditions, history and literature.
The gallery offers online shopping and in-person visits at its Market Street location, as well as resources on choosing, displaying and preserving art, gift ideas, and installment plans.
