Arthrose pouce

Arthrose-Pouce.com is an information and support platform dedicated to rhizarthrosis, the osteoarthritis of the thumb. It aims to make reliable, clear information accessible to people affected by the condition and help them navigate care. The site explains symptoms, diagnosis, treatment options and ways to manage daily discomfort, including adapting activities, using a custom orthosis, physiotherapy and medication. It also describes when surgery, with or without a thumb prosthesis, may be considered.

A specialist directory helps visitors locate professionals by department, including hand surgeons, rheumatologists and other practitioners. The platform outlines a care pathway, from consulting a general practitioner for initial assessment and imaging to seeking specialist guidance. Readers can also explore patient testimonials, practical advice, frequently asked questions and blog articles on topics such as work, prevention and living with rhizarthrosis. Arthrose-Pouce.com serves as an educational resource and guide to finding appropriate support; it does not present itself as a substitute for individual medical advice.
