ARTicipation Studio & Gallery is a working art studio and welcoming creative space in downtown Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. Founded by mixed-media artist Claudia Scimeca, the gallery reflects her passion for making art after a long career in healthcare. Scimeca works with acrylics, soft pastels, inks, charcoal, collage, and assemblage, and her artistic practice helps shape the studio’s imaginative atmosphere.
The gallery showcases work by an eclectic group of more than 20 artists from the Midwest, offering visitors a chance to experience a range of creative perspectives. ARTicipation also hosts creative art workshops, primarily on Saturdays, along with events throughout the year. Its broader offerings include an Art Café and a Creative Community Studio, supporting opportunities for artistic engagement and connection.
With a focus on making creativity accessible in a safe and inspiring environment, ARTicipation celebrates the relationship between art and everyday life through its exhibitions, workshops, and community events. The studio and gallery is located at 10 E Oak Street and welcomes visitors Wednesday through Sunday, with additional visiting hours available by appointment.
