Artijaan is a brand that collaborates with skilled artisans in Afghanistan, offering sustainable livelihood opportunities by creating traditional handmade crafts. They specialize in a diverse range of crafts, including embroidery, woodwork, jewelry, ceramics, and rugs. With a focus on empowering artisans in countries experiencing difficult political and economic situations, Artijaan aims to provide them with access to the international market.
By supporting over 30 artisans and more than 100 women in remote provinces, they have made a significant impact on their communities. Artijaan not only helps to increase incomes and preserve ancient techniques and cultural heritage, but also provides employment opportunities, especially for women. Through their network, mentorship, and consulting services, they enable artisans to sell their products globally and gain visibility in international markets.
