Artikel2, formerly Emmaus Stockholm, is a Swedish organization focused on second-hand reuse, social inclusion and international solidarity. Although its name changed in 2023, the organization says its values and purpose remain the same. It operates second-hand shops in Farsta, Kista, Liljeholmen, Slussen and Solna, sells selected items through Tradera, and offers second-hand services for businesses.
People can support its work by donating clothing and other goods, which are carefully sorted and responsibly handled. Artikel2 reports that it reuses or recycles around 90 percent of the clothing and textiles it receives, helping extend the life of donated items and make more sustainable shopping possible. Its wider activities include work integration, sustainability initiatives, projects concerning Western Sahara, school talks, and publishing reports and articles.
Through these efforts, Artikel2 connects practical reuse with opportunities for people moving toward the open labor market and advocacy on international issues. The organization also invites people to become members and provides information about its governance, projects and ways to contribute
