About Artimo Fine Arts
Artimo Fine Arts, established in 1985 by the Van Cauwenbergh family, is a distinguished gallery located in the Sablon antiques district of Brussels. Specializing in the purchase and sale of exquisite art pieces, Artimo focuses on unique marble and bronze sculptures from the 19th and early 20th centuries, as well as pocket watches and clocks ranging from the 1600s to the 1950s. With decades of expertise, Artimo has become a trusted name in the art and horology fields, facilitating significant acquisitions for prestigious institutions such as the Victoria & Albert Museum and the Rijksmuseum.
The gallery boasts an impressive collection, highlighted by the exhibition "Living Marble," which features over 60 marble sculptures by renowned Belgian artists. Artimoโs dedication to authenticity and detailed documentation is reflected in its library of reference books and recognized certificates for each art piece. Under the leadership of current Director Georges Van Cauwenbergh, the gallery continues to thrive, honoring a legacy of passion for fine arts that spans three generations.
