Felton Art Group is a community of local artists based in Felton, Northumberland, bringing together people of all ages and experience levels to explore art and develop their own creative voices. The group welcomes absolute beginners as well as more experienced artists, offering sessions shaped around participants’ interests and needs. Members can work in a wide range of mediums, including oil and acrylic painting, watercolour, drawing, graphic art, printmaking and digital art. The emphasis is on enjoying the creative process: learning, experimenting and making art in a friendly, supportive environment.

The group also shares members’ work through exhibitions and an online gallery. Its projects have included a virtual exhibition created with Bailiffgate Museum when the Covid pandemic prevented an in-person show, as well as an exhibition exploring the year 1926. Felton Art Group encourages anyone curious about making art to get involved, discover new skills and find an approach that suits them. It also connects visitors with local artists and cultural organisations through relevant community links.
