Artist Dan Rankin

Artist Dan Rankin presents the work of Daniel Rankin, a Florida-born artist whose creative practice spans painting, sculpture, design, and other artistic disciplines. A sixth-generation Floridian raised in the Sarasota area, Rankin is also a musician, chef, filmmaker, writer, costume designer, and prop designer. His wide-ranging experience informs an adaptable style that he describes as a spontaneous, inner-reflective response to the moment, shaped by personal observations and experiences.

The DRANKIN Gallery showcases distinctive artworks and luxury designs intended to inspire and captivate. Rankin works across a varied selection of materials, including acrylics, metal, clay, glass, resin, and crystals, choosing mediums to suit each idea rather than limiting his process to one form. His artistic interests also include sculpting, music, costume and prop design, filmmaking, writing, and culinary arts. The website features selected works, including a Tampa Bay Rays 25th Anniversary piece, along with information about the artist, his background, and his sources of inspiration. Visitors can explore the gallery, learn about events, and contact the artist directly.
