About Artists and Makers Studios
Artists & Makers Studios is a brand dedicated to providing a vibrant and supportive environment for artists to realize their creative goals. With multiple locations in Maryland, Arizona, and upcoming projects in California, they offer a range of services and opportunities for artists and art appreciators alike.
Their flagship operation in Rockville, MD is an art center complex that houses resident artists and affiliates. They provide studios for rent, extensive classroom/workshop spaces, and several galleries. Exhibitions are juried and curated by Cathy Hirsh under the direction of executive director Judith HeartSong.
In Oro Valley, Arizona, Artists & Makers Studios offers a beautiful studio complex overseen by Megan Ace. This newly opened location provides space designed and built specifically for artists. It features a gallery, a covered portico for Saturday Art Markets, and plenty of windows to showcase artistic creations.
New projects are also underway in San Gabriel and North Hollywood, California. These projects will offer studios, rehearsal and performance spaces, as well as gallery and community meeting spaces.
Throughout all their locations, Artists & Makers Studios aims to build a sense of community, provide education, and connect artists with the wider community.
