Founded by a team of international art historians and artists, including Regine Rapp and Christian de Lutz, ALB aims to present and mediate contemporary art at the intersection of art, science, and technology. Regine Rapp and Christian de Lutz, the co-directors, have curated numerous exhibitions and published extensively on contemporary art at the interface of science and technology. The team also includes curator and art writer Tuçe Erel, whose interests lie in archiving practices and post-digital theories, and artist and researcher Karolina Zyniewicz, who is currently pursuing a Nature-Culture Transdisciplinary PhD program.
