About ArtLanguageLocation
Art Language Location (ALL) is an artist-run organization based in Cambridge, UK that focuses on the intersection of art, text, and place. As a not-for-profit collaborative, ALL is dedicated to supporting artists and projects that bring innovative and experimental text-based art to unconventional and intriguing locations within Cambridge and beyond.
ALL began its journey with Text&Context in 2012, an art festival and symposium that connected over 150 artists with over 80 different locations through exhibitions, festivals, and unique events. The organization has since evolved and now emphasizes a range of projects and collaborations while moving away from the festival approach.
Supported by various sponsors, including Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge Festival of Ideas, Cambridge Assessment, Arts Council England, and numerous hosting locations, ALL welcomes new ideas, collaborations, and partnerships. Artists, curators, sponsors, and supporters are all encouraged to get involved.
