About Art Leven
Cooee Art Leven, Sydney's premier Aboriginal art gallery, embodies a profound respect for Indigenous culture and creativity. Established in 1981, we offer a curated collection of authentic Aboriginal artworks in our flagship 480 sqm gallery in Redfern, showcasing the rich heritage of Australian Indigenous art. Our auctions, established in 2017, are renowned for their specialist knowledge, working closely with artists and collectors to present the finest Indigenous art bi-annually.
With over 3000 works by 150 artists, our stockroom includes rare bark paintings, contemporary Aboriginal art, limited edition prints, and traditional artefacts.
