ARTMA-Akademie Salzburg is a brand that offers versatile martial arts training, self-defense techniques, and holistic health practices for all age groups in the 21st century. As a concept, ARTMA represents the art of combat (Martial Arts, Kung Fu) and signifies a comprehensive schooling and teaching system divided into suitable learning steps. The academy focuses on various aspects, including authentic martial arts, effective self-defense, physical and mental health care, fitness, athleticism, and spirituality.

It aims to integrate the concepts and values learned into daily life effectively. Our academy is open to everyone, with beginner-friendly and nonviolent instruction. We have been passionately teaching children (approximately 6-13 years old), teenagers (14-17 years old), and adults (18 years and above) for the past 25 years.

Our goal is to empower individuals to lead fulfilling lives based on martial arts principles. By learning the most effective techniques and self-defense methods, students gain confidence in real-life situations. Realistic scenario training and common de-escalation strategies complement the self-defense program.

We incorporate elements predominantly from martial art systems such as Wing Chun, Taijiquan, Hung Gar Kuen, Jeet Kune Do, and more. Additionally, we employ practices from Eastern philosophies like Qi-Gong, Tai-Chi, and Yoga to promote long-term physical and mental well-being. Located at Gaswerkgasse 17 in Salzburg, our academy provides its own clean and well-lit facilities, including a training hall, a lounge area, changing rooms with shower facilities, and dedicated parking spaces.

It serves as a peaceful environment for learning and communication. In addition to regular classes, we offer the opportunity to rent our premises for external trainings, seminars, or workshops. However, please note that we do not rent to other martial art systems.

For inquiries, please contact our head instructor, Marko. Moreover, we provide self-defense courses or workshops (with or without weapons) for schools, institutions, and businesses. These sessions can be conducted either at our academy or at other provided venues.
