Artmark

Artmark Africa is the creative platform of South African artist and curator Irene Oxley, presenting her paintings and organizing exhibitions, events and commissions. The business showcases work across wildlife and animals, land and seascapes, and life studies, with the website featuring selections marked as sold. Oxley studied at the College of Art & Design in Newcastle-upon-Tyne and brings an expressive approach to a wide range of subjects. Her preferred medium is oil on canvas, applied with a brush or palette knife; she also works with acrylic and acrylic inks.

Alongside original artwork, Oxley developed the Rinki Collection, a quirky interpretation of African animals that became a merchandise range endorsed by the World Wildlife Fund. Artmark Africa curates exhibitions and commissions featuring artists, and invites enquiries about artwork and quotations by phone. Oxley has held leadership and membership roles in South African art associations, and her paintings have entered private collections in South Africa and internationally.
