Art + Image

Art + Image is a Denmark-based provider of technical art investigation services, described as Denmark’s first private business in this field. It supports museums, conservators and private collectors in making informed, confident decisions about artworks, serving clients nationally and internationally. The company combines specialist expertise with imaging equipment to examine paintings and other objects and document their condition.

Its technical imaging services include multispectral documentation, helping clients investigate artworks, identify materials and techniques, and record relevant condition details. Art + Image also provides technical due diligence before an artwork is purchased or sold, along with condition assessments and on-site inspections for collectors. For museums, it offers a portable imaging laboratory, technical consultancy and research projects. Conservators can access documentation and investigative support, as well as workshops and courses.

Beyond its core services, Art + Image undertakes consultancy and bespoke projects tailored to client needs. Its website also features blog articles and case studies, including examples of multispectral imaging work.
