About ARTPORT
ARTPORT_making waves is a curatorial collective founded in 2006 in New York and Valencia, Spain, focusing on climate action and sustainability through the arts. We aim to create social change by drawing attention to climate change causes, consequences, and solutions through exhibitions, film productions, workshops, and educational programs. Our international network of curators and collaborators connects interdisciplinary projects in art, science, and sustainable development.
We collaborate with artists, scientists, policymakers, and various institutions to push for real change and advocate for solutions. Our projects prioritize environmentally sustainable practices, education for sustainable development, gender equality, and support for indigenous communities and traditional knowledge. By supporting ocean conservation, reforestation, climate action, and education, we are committed to contributing to a society that values sustainable and ecological development.
