The Art Renewal Center (ARC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational foundation dedicated to leading the revival of realism and representational art. It operates a large online museum featuring works by Old Masters, 19th-century artists, and contemporary artists, alongside articles, letters, and other educational resources. Through its ARC Approved program, the organization evaluates representational art schools, reviewing their curricula and the quality of teachers’ and students’ work.

ARC also runs the ARC Salon Competition, an international competition for realist painters, sculptors, and draftspeople. With eleven categories and thousands of competing works, the Salon culminates in a live exhibition featuring many of the winning entries. The center supports artists and art education through scholarships, grants, school resources, videos, podcasts, and a library of articles and reference materials.

It also provides an artist gallery, appraisals, image-use information, and a store. Working with allied organizations, artist groups, museums, and publications, ARC serves as a news and resource hub for the contemporary representational art movement
