ARTS Oil City is an arts initiative of the Oil City Main Street Program, supporting the growth of a creative community in Oil City, Pennsylvania. The program helps artists relocate to the city through incentives that can include residential zoning for live-work-gallery spaces, financing, and tax abatements for property rehabilitation. It also offers information about commercial property grants and loans, affordable studios, and exhibition spaces.

A central part of the program is the National Transit Building, a historic downtown landmark with distinctive, affordable studios. The building serves as a hub for visual and performing artists and artisans, while artists with home studios also contribute to the local arts community. ARTS Oil City connects people with studio opportunities, local artists, exhibitions, and events, including receptions and music festivals. Its website provides updates on Oil City’s arts scene and resources for prospective residents and visitors. By linking relocation support with creative spaces and community activities, the initiative helps artists find a place to work, exhibit, and participate in the city’s evolving cultural life.
