Art Studio Bert presents and promotes the original work of artist Bert Jacobs, whose creative practice is inspired by life in Le Marche, Italy. Trained as a Master Painter in Utrecht, Jacobs draws on his experience in the advertising industry and his appreciation of expressive shapes, color and emotion. He creates contemporary, expressive and figurative art, painting with acrylics on wooden panels using a spatula.
The studio offers paintings, including large works and multi-panel sets, as well as serigraphs based on Jacobs’s 2009 painting Night Out. Some prints are further hand-edited with acrylic paint, making individual works within the series distinctive. Its collection also includes iron horse sculptures, painted and decorated in varied styles.
Based in Italy, Art Studio Bert serves collectors internationally and ships worldwide. The studio values personal relationships with buyers, offering direct contact with the artist and support in selecting artwork, sometimes alongside interior decoration advice. Through its personal approach, it aims to share its passion for art with clients around the globe.
