ArtWeek Kerteminde

ArtWeek Kerteminde was a Danish art festival that brought artists, visitors and the local community together for a week of exhibitions and cultural experiences. Held at Anexet at Lundsgaard Gods, the festival offered free admission and a varied programme that included exhibitions, working artists, workshops, talks, concerts, children’s activities, sculptures displayed around town and charitable events. Since its founding in 2011, more than 400 artists from over 25 countries took part, helping establish ArtWeek as a lively meeting place for creative exchange and community involvement.

Its 2026 edition, held from 20 to 27 June, marked the festival’s final season after 13 years. A culminating collaborative project involved 121 participants creating a 53. 6-square-metre linocut from 214 carved plates, later presented in Copenhagen.

ArtWeek Kerteminde’s website remains as a memory page documenting the festival’s history, artists and past editions. Although the event has concluded, its organisers continue to focus on Galleri Havn and are exploring a long-held ambition to create a sculpture exhibition in Kerteminde
