Art With Intention

Art with Intention is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit art enrichment program serving Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. Its guided painting sessions are designed for people with developmental delays and neurological challenges, including autism, Alzheimer’s disease, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and stroke recovery. The program uses art as a purposeful way for participants to create, communicate, and engage.

Families and caregivers describe meaningful experiences with the program. One parent reports progress for her autistic daughter, while another says her nonverbal daughter has found a way to express herself through art. A family member also shares that painting brought enjoyment and pride to her mother living with Alzheimer’s, with a positive effect on the wider family. Art with Intention showcases participants’ work through its gallery and Art Show – Inspiring Purpose, and invites community support through donations. The organization’s approach centers on guided creative activity tailored to people who may benefit from an enriching, expressive art experience.
