Inspektor Arvid Gustafssons Stiftelse is a Swedish foundation that awards scholarships to young people with ties to Uppsala County. Its support is intended for students at agricultural upper-secondary schools and higher education institutions, primarily those preparing to become skilled farmers or business leaders in the green industries. The foundation also funds education in animal husbandry, horticulture, forestry, crop production, equine studies and small-scale food processing.
Established in 1975 with initial capital of SEK 700,000, the foundation was created in accordance with the wishes of Arvid Gustafsson, a lifelong enthusiast for forestry and agriculture who worked as an inspector at several large farms, including Hjulsta near Enköping. By the turn of 2025–2026, its investment portfolio had a market value of approximately SEK 60 million. In recent years, annual scholarship distributions have ranged from SEK 1.05 million to SEK 1.4 million. In 2025, 85 recipients shared SEK 1.4 million, with awards varying according to study level. The 2026 application period is scheduled for October 1 through December 3.
