Arvoluonto

Suomen Arvoluonto Oy is a Finnish consulting company founded in 2021 and focused on nature information services. It works primarily in the Tunturi-Lappi and North Lapland regions, supporting land-use planning and the protection of natural values through impartial, appropriately conducted assessments. Its services include preliminary studies, baseline surveys of natural values, species surveys, and the preparation of nature management plans.

Typical survey work brings together background research, fieldwork, and detailed reporting with photographs, maps, recommendations, and spatial data; the scope is agreed for each project. The company assesses notable habitats and species, including those protected or identified under Finnish nature and water legislation, the EU Habitats Directive, or threatened-species classifications. Species surveys cover vegetation, breeding birds, moor frogs, flying squirrels, and bats, with fieldwork timed and methods selected for each target species.

Its project references include ecological surveys, habitat and species inventories, a hiking-route condition assessment, and an ecological sustainability assessment for a planned accommodation service. Suomen Arvoluonto’s team includes nature surveyors Katja Haimakka and Aleksi Pudas
