ASAP, the Asylum Seeker Advocacy Project, stands as the largest collective of asylum seekers in the United States, dedicated to providing support to over one million immigrants from 175 countries. As a nonprofit organization, ASAP offers a range of resources, including a remote legal help desk and breaking news alerts, to assist its members in navigating the complex U.S. The organization not only empowers its members with vital legal information but also facilitates their active participation in shaping community priorities through collective action, storytelling, and involvement in advocacy campaigns.

With a diverse team composed predominantly of women of color and first- or second-generation immigrants, ASAP is committed to fostering a more inclusive and welcoming environment for asylum seekers. This innovative approach has already helped countless individuals gain access to the authorized workforce and generated over $1 billion in additional household income for immigrant families. Membership is free for immigrants, and the organization warmly encourages donations to further its impactful mission of promoting safety and prosperity for all asylum seekers.
