Australian Society for Animal Rescue

The Australian Society for Animal Rescue (ASAR) is a non-profit organisation based in New South Wales, Australia, dedicated to animal welfare and rescue. Entirely funded by donations, ASAR works to rescue animals in need and help them find safe, loving homes. Its mission also includes promoting responsible pet ownership and broader awareness of animal welfare.

People can support ASAR’s work by donating or volunteering, helping the organisation meet the needs of the animals in its care. The website features adoption profiles for animals seeking homes, giving prospective adopters a way to learn more about them. ASAR also welcomes enquiries through its contact channels and provides information about wills and bequests for those who wish to support its mission through future giving.

With the guiding message that every animal deserves a safe, loving home, ASAR brings together rescue, rehoming and community support. Its work depends on contributions from people who want to help improve the lives of animals and connect them with caring homes.
