About Clube Asas de São Miguel
Clube Asas de São Miguel (CASM) is a paragliding club based on São Miguel in the Azores, welcoming visitors to learn about its activities, flying locations, competitions and community events. The club promotes the sport through its annual Azores Paragliding Festival, with registrations open for the 32nd edition, and shares a recap of the 31st festival. Its website also highlights a Summer ParaTrial course planned for 2026, alongside practical information and frequently asked questions for people interested in paragliding.
CASM has a strong competitive record: it describes itself as six-time national champion and features results and award presentations from previous competitions. The club also brings members and participants together through social gatherings, including a dinner and prize-giving event celebrating the previous year’s competitions. With information on local flying sites and opportunities to take part in courses, festivals and competitions, CASM serves as a hub for paragliding in São Miguel and the wider Azores
