ASB-Regionalverband Leine-Weser is a regional branch of the Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund, supporting people of all ages and in different life situations across the districts of Hanover, Hameln-Pyrmont, Holzminden and Schaumburg. Formerly known as ASB-Kreisverband Hannover-Land/Schaumburg, the organisation has grown to operate services and facilities from 25 locations. Its guiding commitment is to help here and now, with practical support in everyday life as well as during emergencies.

Services include first-aid training, ambulance and event medical services, disaster response, patient transport and other driving services. The ASB also offers home care, day care and residential care for older people, assisted living, household help, meals on wheels and emergency call systems. For children and families, its programmes include nurseries, childcare and youth activities. Additional support includes refugee assistance and integration, a return transport service, and the Wishes Wagon, which helps fulfil special wishes. People can also contribute through volunteering, youth programmes, donations, membership or voluntary service.
