ASB Region Oberschwaben Nord

Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund Baden-Württemberg e.V. Region Oberschwaben Nord is a regional branch of the German workers’ Samaritan association, serving communities from its base in Schwendi-Orsenhausen. Its work combines care, emergency response, first-aid education and opportunities for local people to contribute through volunteering and membership.

The region offers first-aid courses, residential and day care, mobile care, and home emergency call services. Its emergency and community services include medical event support, ambulance and emergency physician services, and a rescue dog unit. The organisation also features a youth group and a circle of friends, helping connect people with its work and activities.

Alongside providing services, the regional branch invites people to volunteer, take part in honorary roles, donate or join as members. It also publishes local news and recruits staff for care, housekeeping and other roles, as well as opportunities through the Federal Volunteer Service and voluntary social year. Through this broad range of services and ways to participate, the organisation supports people across Oberschwaben Nord.
