ASCA

ASCA (Addiction Support & Care Agency) is an established charity serving adults aged 18 and over in south west London. It provides confidential assessment, advice, information, counselling and support to people seeking help with addiction or wider mental and emotional wellbeing concerns. Its therapy services include alcohol and drug counselling, using early intervention and education to help clients understand their choices and develop new ways to manage difficulties.

ASCA also offers general counselling for concerns such as abuse, anxiety, bereavement, isolation, loneliness, self-esteem, stress, and work, family or relationship worries. Recognising the impact addiction can have on those around a person, the charity provides a Carers’ Service with information, education, guidance, counselling and a carers’ group programme. Its Affected Others lunchtime group programme offers additional support for people affected by someone else’s addiction.
