About African Sports Centre for Data
African Sports Centre for Data, Research & Technology (ASC) is a leading organization dedicated to promoting the use of scientific and technical methodologies in sports development across Africa. With a focus on data, research, and technology (DR&T), ASC aims to bridge the gap between the continent and the rest of the world by offering a comprehensive range of services. Based in Accra, Ghana, ASC serves as a one-stop center of excellence for on and off-pitch data collection and management, performance analysis, health and safety, scouting, and betting.
We also provide training, consultancy, and advocacy services, along with organizing events such as seminars, workshops, and conferences. Our mission is to empower sports teams, national bodies, NGOs, and private businesses by leveraging DR&T to maximize the benefits of performance monitoring, media digitalization, social media marketing, and sports betting.
