About ASCOFAPSI
ASCOFAPSI, the Colombian Association of Psychology Faculties, was established in 1986 in response to the need for organizing and coordinating the training activities of psychologists. The association aims to propose policies to enhance the development of psychology in Colombia. ASCOFAPSI is a non-profit academic entity dedicated to improving the university education of psychologists in Colombia.
Its mission is to promote scientific, professional, ethical, and social advancement in psychology through collaboration with its members. By the year 2020, ASCOFAPSI envisions being a national and international reference in promoting quality psychology education, thereby contributing to the scientific and social growth of the discipline. The association provides various services such as supporting academic activities, coordinating quality exams for psychology programs, offering training courses for educators, and endorsing academic events.
