ASCS

The Association Sportive et Culturelle des Semailles (ASCS) is a community association based at 18 Avenue des Nations in Rillieux-la-Pape, France. Established more than 40 years ago, it offers a varied programme of sporting, cultural and well-being activities for people looking to stay active, explore creative interests or take time for themselves. The association says its instructors are qualified and receive regular training, helping them support participants and introduce them to their disciplines.

Activities include martial arts and movement practices such as hapkido, kempo, taekwondo, tricking, self-defence and archery, alongside jogging, Pilates and full-body fitness training. Creative and cultural options include modern dance, choir, comic-book illustration, sewing, drawing and painting, photography, modelling and pottery. For relaxation and personal well-being, ASCS also offers sophrology.
