ASD Ireland is a not-for-profit community organization that was founded by two passionate parents, Keith Enright and Caroline Hogan, who have teenagers with autism spectrum disorder. They established ASD Ireland to address the lack of socially inclusive activities available for their children. What began with the Limerick autism group has now evolved into ASD Ireland, offering a range of services and activities.
ASD Ireland provides various inclusive programs such as autism camps, movement groups, psychotherapy counseling, gaming groups and camps, parking permits, and ID cards. They also offer training and education opportunities and have an employment program in partnership with Lidl Ireland. Additionally, the organization is actively engaged in community outreach programs and aims to support local businesses in becoming autism/sensory friendly.
Led by Keith Enright, a passionate CEO and supported by a dedicated board of Directors, ASD Ireland has a volunteer team with over 30 years of combined experience in supporting autistic individuals and their families. They strive to create a better understanding of autism and foster a more inclusive society. ASD Ireland is an independent charity that relies on public donations and philanthropy.
They are registered as a company limited by guarantee and audited by Barry Coffey & co accountants. To get involved or support their cause, interested individuals can reach out to Keith at keith@asdireland. ie
