Le Soleil dans la Main is a development NGO that works towards creating a dignified and supportive life for every individual in their environment. Founded in 2002 by a group of friends, it became an NGO in 2009. With 48 employees, most of their projects are based in Burkina Faso, but they also have a national representation office in Ouagadougou and a headquarters in Luxembourg.

Their main focus areas are community development, child protection, and equitable access to education. The organization is committed to mobilizing the necessary resources to support society and individuals in their development. They have signed their first Framework Agreement with the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs for a five-year duration and their total budget exceeds 4 million Euros, with 80% co-financed by the ministry.
