ASEZAR is the professional association representing state-authorized tobacco and stamp retailers in Zaragoza province, Spain. Established in April 1978, it supports the interests of local tobacco and stamp vendors and promotes professional association within the sector. Its current name, Asociación Profesional de Expendedores de Tabacos y Timbre del Estado en la Provincia de Zaragoza, was adopted following a revision of its statutes in 1991.
Rather than selling consumer products, ASEZAR provides information, resources, and support for its members and the wider trade. Its website offers sector news, tobacco price updates, historical information about the tobacco and stamp market in Spain, and materials on the tobacco industry and professional associations. Members can also access documentation, relevant legislation, practical tools, and a model application for temporary closure during holidays.
ASEZAR shares updates on sector events, including its annual Día del Expendedor, and reports on initiatives related to collaboration and retailer security. The association is based in Zaragoza and provides contact details for enquiries, helping tobacco and stamp retailers stay informed and connected.
