Asgard Bestattungshaus

Asgard Bestattungshaus is a family-oriented funeral service in Rostock, supporting people through bereavement with professional, personal and compassionate care. Serving the community since 1931, the team is available around the clock, from the first arrangements after a death through the funeral and final resting place. Its approach respects the wishes of both the deceased and their families, combining traditional rituals with contemporary ways to create individual, dignified farewells.

Services include funeral planning and advice on financial protection options, guidance on burial and cremation choices, and help with the practical steps and formalities that follow a death. The team arranges transfers, consultations, opportunities for viewing and saying goodbye, and personalised funeral ceremonies. It also prepares memorial print materials, including newspaper notices, condolence and thank-you cards, and remembrance images. Asgard provides information on bereavement and can connect families with specialist support or grief groups. The funeral home also organises sea burials in the Baltic Sea, with options for a quiet committal or a ceremony attended by mourners.
